Flying Pig Patch began as a dream that we could sustain ourselves on a typical town lot. We began this journey the only way one can... we jumped in with both feet.
And so this "city girl" (as my partner's grandmother called me), and the family- learned to grow things, use the land we live on, take care of chickens, make things for ourselves, learned to fail, and pull up our socks and start again.

Baking is my passion. The kitchen is my happy place. Cookies are my thing! I have dreamed of owning a cookie cart for years- so bringing cookies to the market is the closest I can manage right now.

We try new recipes constantly. Sometimes they work out and sometimes they don't. There is always something new and something happening here at the Patch.

Flying Pig Patch is an oddball group of chickens, people and a chihuahua (aka the farm dog) working together to maximize the potential of the earth around them. With every idea comes a lesson, and with every lesson so far comes another idea. We come with the fruits of our labour. Making cookies with farm fresh eggs, ingredients from the land we stay on, and sometimes, overwhelming big ideas!
